INTENDED OUTCOMES
We endeavour to provide a complete service under one roof for Multiple Sclerosis sufferers, encouraging them to look after themselves and make the best of their lives within the confines of their condition.
Therapy is not available within the Health Service, only in acute cases and then for short periods and it is proven that regular therapy is essential to prevent deterioration and to maintain and improve the condition.
The integrated approach with core therapies and complimentary therapies being provided under one roof enables people to receive the therapy needed, as MS changes over a period of time and the therapy needed will need to change accordingly.
Also many people with MS are unable to travel easily and by attending the Centre regularly they can access any of the therapies or services without having to travel to different and clinics. Also allowing them to have these for at minimal cost enables them to have regular therapy, as many live on benefits and it would not be possible for them to pay normal fees.
Receiving regular assessments also ensures that they receive the information they require as soon as it is needed.
