ABOUT OUR CENTRE

OUR CENTRE

The Therapy Centre was opened in 1985 initially to treat people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) by means of High Dosage Oxygen Therapy. However, over the years our remit has expanded, because of the ever increasing international reasearch, to encompass a variety of other conditions. We also offer physiotherapy, as well as other complementary therapies, all taking place in a very relaxed friendly atmosphere. As part of a national network of centres (MSTCN) we can access information on a wide variety of assistance for sufferers of MS.

Our motto is Self Help and the more sufferers can help themselves the better. The Centre with all its supporters, is able to give this positive help and no sufferer or their family need ever feel they are alone in fighting the disease.

One day a cure will be found, but meanwhile the management of MS and the symptoms and everyday challenges the sufferers have to cope with it is important to keep as well as possible. We believe that life is still worth living and acceptance of our own limitations is important in learning to live with our ‘new life’.Let the Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre help you to piece it all together.

The Centre is registered with and comes under the watchful eye of the Health Inspectorate of Wales and is inspected to maintain a high standard of practices and client care is maintained

We are eternally grateful for the support we receive especially from companies such as 'Really Welsh' who give practical support when needed.
