Hi, my name is Jan Thomas and I have been Chairperson of our centre for three years. We are a friendly centre with a homely, happy atmosphere and openly encourage people to drop in and have a chat or give us a call. We originated almost 25 years ago to offer sufferers of Multiple Sclerosis support and Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (also referred to as High Dosage Oxygen Treatment) but we also have a thriving physiotherapy department. We are a registered Multiple Sclerosis Charity but our remit has expanded over the years to encompass sufferers with other conditions such as strokes, carbon monoxide poisoning and diabetic ulcers. We are becoming increasingly involved in other areas of concern within the community and are broadening our knowledge and helping an ever widening section of that community.
Many of you may have experienced the feeling of being very much alone when first diagnosed with MS with no one to listen or to talk to; we are here to do just that. If you feel the need do not hesitate to contact us or as I said previously, if it is possible just drop in for a cup of tea and a chat.
We are working continuously to cover the costs of running our centre and are grateful for the help of our supporters at Really Welsh and Eastside Insurance
You may also be able to help us not only in an always appreciated financial way but maybe with your spare time because we are always looking for volunteers.
